Biography of Founder - Gaston Chan

 

Gaston Chan founded Protosim Inc in 2000 and currently the Company president.

 

Mr. Chan received his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University in 1988. After working as a mechanical designer for 3 years, he completed a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Concordia University in 1993. Since then, he has worked on several major civil aircraft programs including Bombardier CL-601/604, Global Express, G5000/6000/7000/8000, CRJ-200/700/900 and CSeries, Mitsubishi MRJ, Raytheon Horizon, Dassault Falcon2000 / FalconX, Agusta-Bell 309 and Embraer 170.

 

He has worked at major aerospace companies including Canadair (now Bombardier Aerospace), Honeywell Aerospace, Pratt and Whitney Canada, Esterel Technologies, Hispano-Suiza Canada and Thales Avionique Canada.
